Our small-scale beef production creates a high quality, richly flavored beef. These animals are not just grass fed, but are grazed intensively on high quality forage. They are also given access to Organic free-choice minerals, and grown up right here at Groundworks Farm. Our beef is 100 percent grass fed and grass finished, without enhancements- just good beef.
What is is difference between grass fed and grass finished? While all beef cattle are likely raised on grass for some or most of their lives, most are transported to a facility and fed a large proportion of grains for “finishing”. Our beef is grass fedd from start to finish, and quality is our primary focus.

How much meat is 1/4 beef? The exact volume varies, but our beef quarter are about 100 lbs. This equates to 5-6 cubic feet of freezer space, or two boxes.
